Online B.Com Program

The department of commerce offers undergraduate courses in General, Accounting & Finance, Corporate Secretaryship and Computer Application. Eligibility Criteria for Online B.Com Program

For any discipline, the applicant should

  • Completed 10+2 years of formal schooling
  • Meet the eligibility criteria as prescribed in the admission norms
  • Evidence of required academic performance must be in the form of certified
  • English transcripts listing all the courses with grades or marks earned
  • Transcripts in languages other than English are not acceptable.

 

Policy for Indian Students for Admission

  • The reservation policy of the Government of India is followed subject to the availability of students in OBC/SC/ST/Physically Challenged People/ Ex-Servicemen/ Sports under each category. 

Policy for NRI and Overseas students for Admission

  • Non-Resident Indians (NRI)/Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/international students to Institutions Deemed to be Universities shall be governed by the Guidelines/Regulations framed by the Commission.

Duration of the Course 

  • The course is completed in 3 years.
  • These three years are further divided into six semesters.
  • Each semester has a minimum of five to six subjects.

Fee Structure

  • The academic fee for B.Com - General, offered at Dr MGR Institute, is Rs 36,000 per semester & the other fees are Rs.10,000  (One-time payment) (Shift I)
  • The academic fee for {program} is Rs 25,000  per semester & other fee Rs.10,000 (Shift II)

Mode of Payment of Fees

  • Selected candidates have to pay the fees as mentioned in the Admission Form. 
  • The fees can be paid either by cash or through NEFT or Demand Draft drawn in favour of Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute, payable at Chennai. 
  • Fees once paid are not refundable under any circumstances.
