·          Eligibility Criteria

The evaluation process of IIM Bangalore is done on the basis of a candidate’s past academic performance, CAT score, performance in personal interview and past work experience. Candidates can go through the detailed analysis of CAT 2020 and CAT Cut-off 2020 to check out their chances of getting admission at IIM Bangalore. The institute follows a two-phase selection process :

Phase 1

Candidates who are shortlisted on the basis of CAT are called for the Phase 1 round of selection which includes the Personal Interview (PI) and the Writing Ability Test (WAT) where the candidate is given about 30 minutes to write on the topic given by the institute. Following are the minimum cutoff requirements of IIM Bangalore:

·          Scholarships

1. Aditya Birla Scholarship: This merit-based scholarship is given to PGP students of both the first and the second years. The students who are granted the scholarship during the first year are eligible to apply for renewal in the second year, provided they belong to the top 25% of the batch in the first year. The scholarship amount is INR 1.75 lakh per student.

 

2. OPJEMS Scholarship: This merit-based scholarship is given to PGP students of second year .The first ten toppers of 2nd year based on the academic performance in the first year are eligible to apply Basis of online test conducted by OP Jindal Group  one student of each academic year will be awarded. The scholarship amount is INR 1.50 lakh

 

3. Citi Women’s Leader Award: This is a merit scholarship that covers the second year’s tuition expenses. Candidates are selected from the top 25% of the batch at the end of the first year. Nomination is done by the institute and the students are selected on the basis of their Statement of Purpose and subsequent interviews scheduled by CitiGroup.

 

4. Societe Generale Global Solution Centre India Scholarship: This is a means scholarship that covers tuition expenses in full. Candidates are selected from the neediest applicants in the first year and subsequent interviews conducted by Societe Generale.

 

5. Siddhartha Padam Award: This scholarship is awarded to a PGP student who is on the Director’s Merit List and gets the highest CGPA in the Economics, Finance & Accounting core courses in the first year. It carries a cash prize of INR 50,000, a medallion and a certificate.

 

6. IIMB PGP Alumni First Batch (1976) Scholarship: This scholarship is given to a differently-abled woman student from PGP. The scholarship aims to assist a differently-abled female student (or a differently-abled male student, if there is no eligible female student). It keeps alive the memory of the PGP batch of 1976 and their association with the institute. The scholarship carries a purse of INR 75000, a medallion and a certificate.

 

7. Runwal Education Trust Scholarship: This scholarship is given to a PGP student based on a combination of academic performance in the 1st year and the student’s financial need. The scholarship carries a purse of INR 100000, a medallion and a certificate.

8. Hindustan Unilever / T Thomas Scholarship: This merit-cum-means scholarship is given by HUL to one PGP second-year student. The scholarship of INR 1 lakh

 

9. Yes Bank Scholarship: This scholarship of INR 2 lakhs is open to students who are among the top 20 students as per the admission criteria, belong to the top 20% of the batch based on the current CGPA and are members of at least one student committee.

 

10. NTPC Scholarship Scheme: The scholarship amounts to INR 48,000 per year. Students who belong to SC/ST/PwD categories and are in their second year of management studies, having passed the first-year examination in one attempt, are eligible for the scholarship.

 

11. Employment in Social Sector Scholarship: This scholarship reimburses the recipient one-third of the fees at the end of each year of work for the first three years in the social sector.

·          Eligibility Criteria

Phase 1

The preliminary screening is done on the basis of Application Rating (AR) and CAT score secured by the candidate. The candidate has to clearly define overall cutoff as well as sectional cutoffs in order to qualify the first stage. The minimum cutoff requirements for IIM Ahmedabad are as follows:

IIM Ahmedabad Final Selection 2021

Finally, the ranks of students in each category are separately evaluated on the basis of their final composite scores (FCS). For this, the normalized PI and AWT scores of candidates will be calculated by dividing the actual scores with the top 1% scores in PI and AWT respectively.

·          Scholarships

1.     IIMA Special Need Based Scholarships: All students admitted to the post-graduate programs (PGP & PGP-FABM), whose gross annual family income is below Rs.15,00,000 during the previous financial year are eligible to apply for this scholarship, subject to proof of family income, amount of educational loan taken, and candidate’s past earnings, etc. Family income includes the total income of parent(s)/guardian(s) and spouse if married. The income before tax deduction will be considered. IIM-A shall determine the financial assistance required for each applicant based on its assessment of the applicant’s economic status evaluated through criteria like movable and immovable family assets, the number of dependents on the family income, and any other criteria it may deem necessary.

2.     SC/ST Scholarships: All SC/ST students in the postgraduate programs are awarded Rs.150 per month for 10 months.

 

3.                  IIM Calcutta

When IIM Calcutta was first established in 1961, with the motive of not just imparting management education but also pioneering the teaching of management in India, it was the first national institute offering the chance to complete post-graduate studies and/or research in management in India. Since then, the institute has proudly led the charge in establishing Indian managers as one of the world’s best.

·          Eligibility Criteria

1.      Students must have a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 50% in aggregate or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC/ ST candidates). Candidates belonging to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, and Person with Disability categories will be given 5% relaxation.

2.      Candidate must have completed the graduation from any university/institute incorporated by an Act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

3.      Candidates appearing for the final year examination of the qualifying exam will be eligible to apply for CAT 2020 and IIM Calcutta admission process. However such candidates will be required to submit the required documents latest by June 30, 2021, from the principal/registrar of his/her university/College/Institute (issued on or before June 30, 2020) stating that the candidate has completed all the requirements for obtaining the bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification on the date of the issue of the certificate.

Candidates will be shortlisted for Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) on the basis of their CAT 2020 score, past academic performance
