It provides knowledge about apparel product design expertise, consumer behaviour expertise, strong research skills, an understanding of social responsibility and sustainability, and strong communication skills. The course includes study of apparel supply chains and social responsibility, sustaining global apparel supply chains, culture and work in the apparel industry, consumers and social responsibility, initiatives for apparel industry labor compliance, redesigning green apparel and their design, sourcing and packaging and producing environmentally responsible apparel.
