• Printer is required for keeping hard copies; if there is no printer, one can save the printouts, transfer them on to a pen drive and get it printed from a cyber - cafe.
• It is recommended to download the information Bulletin Brochure and read it carefully so that you understand various requirements to fill up the form.

The Usual Steps in filling up the Online Application Form of the ISTC Entrance Exam Diplomas 2020:

• Please go to official website.
• Choose State of Corporate / Institution : ‘Chandigarh’ and Type of Corporate / Institution: ‘Educational Institutions’. Then Click on ‘Go’ button. 
• Choose Educational Institutions Name : ‘CSIO’ then click on ‘Submit’ button.
• Choose Select Payment Category : ‘ISTC Entrance Exam Fee’. Then fill up the details as opened in new window. 
• After filling the details as per ‘d’ point, then ‘Submit’ and ‘Confirm’ the filled details before depositing the entrance examination fee.

The final application form should be printed and a copy kept with you.

It is for information of all public that the ISTC Entrance Exam Diplomas 2020 for admission to various diploma courses at ISTC, CSIR - CSIO, Chandigarh has been cancelled due to COVID - 19.

The admission will be given on the basis of merit list based on the percentage of marks in the subjects of Mathematics, Science, English and Social Science (or Social Studies or History, Civics and Geography or equivalent) in the qualifying examination i.e. matriculation, by giving weightage of 40%, 40%, 10% and 10% respectively. The aggregate of all the four subjects after giving the weightage shall be 100.
