Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies Entrance Exam 2020 or KUFOS Entrance Exam 2020 is the entrance examination for admission to M.F.Sc., M.Sc., M.Tech., LL.M., PGD (Aquarium Science and Technology) and other courses. KUFOS Entrance Exam 2020 is conducted by Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies.

KUFOS Entrance Exam for the year 2020 has been announced by Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies and will be held on 27/06/2020. The exam is in written mode. The duration of the exam will be 120 minutes. Admit card will be available from 20/06/2020. The result date will be announced later.

                                         Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications: The Minimum Academic Qualifications for  KUFOS Entrance Exam 2020 require are:

Master of Fisheries ScienceFour years Bachelor's degree in Fisheries Science (BFSc) recognized by Kerala
University of Fisheries and Ocean Science with an OGPAof 6.5/10.0 or above (In
the case of SC/ST candidates an OGPA of 5.5/10.0).
M.ScA Science degree with 50% marks
M.Tech (Integrated)B.Tech/BE in Integrated Coastal Zone Management/ Civil Engineering/
Mechanical Engineering/ Environmental Engineering/ Harbour Engineering/
Coastal Engineering, Law graduates, MSc in Marine geology/GeoScience, Geo Physics, Marine biology & Oceanography, and BFSc. A minimum mark of 50% mark is required for the qualifying degree.
M.Tech.B.Tech in Marine Engineering / Civil / Mechanical / Safety & Fire / EEE / Naval Arch / 60% marks preferably with GATE/NET.
LL.M.Candidates who have passed the LLB Degree Examination of any University in
the State of Kerala or of any other University recognized as equivalent there to and
has secured not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate (45% for SC/ST
Students) shall be eligible to be considered for admission. The students awaiting
final results may also apply provided they produce the pass certificates and marks
statements up to the pre-final semester at the time of admission.
PG DiplomasGraduation in any science discipline. 
Ph.D.Masters degree in the respective/related discipline recognized by Kerala
University of Fisheries and Ocean Science with an OGPA of 7.0/10.0 (In the
case of SC/ST candidates, an OGPAof 6.5/10.0).

    Steps in Filling up the application form:

    Step 1

    • Go to the Official site. 

    Step 2

    • Please go to the new candidate registration button and complete the registration process.
    • Candidate must provide Correct Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number and Email Address as these details cannot be changed once the registration is complete.

    Step 3

    • Candidate has to fill in the above-mentioned details to receive the User ID and Password.
    • Candidate will receive the User ID on the registered email address and Password as SMS on the registered mobile number.

    Step 4

    • Candidate can login with the User ID and Password to complete the application form for KUFOS Entrance Exam 2020
    • For applying to the multiple courses Single Registration is sufficient.
    • Candidates are required to fill separate Application Forms for each course of study as detailed in this Guide. However, candidates should submit a single Application Form for courses for which a combined Test is to be conducted.

    Step 5

    • Before completing the payment, the candidate can preview the application form and make any corrections, if required. Once the payment is done, no changes are allowed. Once done the candidate will agree to the declaration by ticking the appropriate box and submitting the form. The final application form should be printed and a copy kept with you.

    Examination Day Instructions

    Before entering the Exam Centre

    • Try to reach the exam centre one hour prior to the time advised in the admit card.
    • Before leaving for the site, please have a hearty breakfast or light lunch depending on the session. Drink plenty of fluids; as in summers dehydration can set in affecting your performance in the exam.
    • Have a cookie or a chocolate just before entering the centre; this prevents hypoglycaemia and thus helps you stay alert longer improving your results.
    • If it is a busy centre, then don’t wait till last for the entry and security check.
    • Centre will not allow you to enter after the stipulated time of closing the doors.
    • Admission to the Exam Centre is with the Admit Card; no candidates shall be admitted to the test without the production of the Admit Card at the Test Centre.
    • Usually no bags are allowed.
    • No eatables are allowed.
    • No communication equipment such as mobile phones / pager/ wireless set, scanner, camera or any such electronic / digital gadget etc are allowed in the exam centre; carrying one will lead to disqualification.
    • Handbag / Carry bag/ Mobile phone / calculator /watch/any other electronic gadget or any paper (other than the Admit Card) shall not be allowed inside the Test Hall/Room and the University shall not be responsible for its safekeeping. If a candidate is found in possession of any such item during the Test, he/she would be deemed to have used unfair means and may lead to cancellation of his/her candidature.

    After entering the centre

    • Once candidates enter the centre, they should locate their designated hall and seat. 
    • If mentioned, candidates will be hand frisked as well as photographed or video graphed before entering the centre
    • After all the formalities, candidates should enter the allotted hall and take the designated seat.
    • No candidate will be permitted to enter the Test Centre/Hall/Room 15 minutes after the scheduled commencement of the Test.
    • For Objective Type question papers, rough work is to be done in the space provided for this purpose. No rough work is allowed on the OMR Answer Sheet under any situation.
    • Questions have to be answered on the answer sheet only.
    • Copying, use of unfair means of any kind, talking, asking questions from other candidates or borrowing of material inside the Test Centre is strictly prohibited.
    • The candidates are to return their OMR answer-sheets and the question paper in full to the Centre Superintendent. Tearing or taking away of the question paper is not allowed failing which the candidates shall be disqualified from the entire Entrance Test.
    • Misbehaviour of any kind can lead to expulsion of the candidate.
    • Caught copying helping in copying will mean cancellation of the answer sheet/cancellation of the candidature.
    • Marking the answer sheet or question paper in any way will also lead to cancellation of the exam for that candidate.
