Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (B.A. B.Ed. / B.Sc.- B.Ed.) 2020 or MAH CET (B.A. B.Ed. / B.Sc.- B.Ed.) 2020 is the entrance examination for admission to B.A. B.Ed. (Integrated) and B.Sc. - B.Ed. (integrated). MAH CET (B.A. B.Ed. / B.Sc.- B.Ed.) 2020 is conducted by State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra.

MAH CET (B.A. B.Ed. / B.Sc.- B.Ed.) for the year 2020 has been announced by State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra and will be held on 18/10/2020. The application forms will be available from 07/09/2020 till 08/09/2020. The exam is in online mode. The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes. It is being conducted in English and Marathi languages. Admit card will be available from 09/10/2020. Result is expected to be announced on 27/11/2020.

Educational Qualifications:  The Minimum Academic Qualifications for MAH CET (B.A. B.Ed. / B.Sc.- B.Ed.) 2020 require Minimum 50% Marks or Equivalent Grade etc. subjects studied as Optional/Special Subject at HSC or equivalent level for Open/General Category Candidate OMS/ All India Candidates and EWS Candidates 

Candidates from Outside Maharashtra State/Jammu & Kashmir Migrant Candidates belonging to all Categories will be considered as Open Candidate and eligibility of Open category candidate will be applicable to them

Age Limit:

  • There is no upper age limit for MAH CET (B.A. B.Ed. / B.Sc.- B.Ed.) 2020
  • Age will be calculated as on 1st July 2020

    • MAH CET (B.A. B.Ed. / B.Sc.- B.Ed.) 2020 will be conducted in the selected cities in Maharashtra and Outside Maharashtra.
    • A candidate appearing for CET shall give his / her preference for the Centre, however, the Competent Authority reserves the right to allocate the Centre and Venue.
    • The examination will be conducted On-Line at Venues.
    • No request for change of Centre / Venue / Date / Session for the Examination shall be entertained.
    • The competent authority, however, reserves the right to cancel any of the Examination Centres and /or add some other Centres, at its discretion.

    Examination Day Instructions

    Before entering the Exam Centre

    • The candidates reporting the Venue of the Examination after reporting time specified on the Hall Ticket will not be permitted to take the Examination.
    • You may have to be at the venue for approximately 2 hours including the time required for logging in, collection of the Hall Ticket, going through the instructions etc.
    • Photo to be fixed on the admit card.
    • Before leaving for the site, please have a hearty breakfast or light lunch depending on the session. Drink plenty of fluids; as in summers dehydration can set in affecting your performance in the exam.
    • Have a cookie or a chocolate just before entering the centre; this prevents hypoglycaemia and thus helps you stay alert longer improving your results.
    • If it is a busy centre, then don’t wait till last for the entry and security check.
    • Centre will not allow you to enter after the commencement of examination.
    • Admission to the Exam Centre is with the Admit Card; no candidates shall be admitted to the test without the production of the Admit Card at the Test Centre.
    • Usually no bags are allowed.
    • No eatables are allowed.
    • No communication equipment such as mobile phones / pager/ wireless set, scanner, camera or any such electronic / digital gadget etc are allowed in the exam centre; carrying one will lead to disqualification.

    After Entering the centre

    • In no case, a candidate is allowed to enter the examination hall after the exam starts.
    • No candidate shall be allowed to leave the examination hall till the completion of the Examination.
    • Candidates are not allowed to talk to each other during the examination.
    • Misbehaviour of any kind can lead to expulsion of the candidate.
    • You are advised to bring with you the following :
      • Hall Ticket with photo affixed thereon and photo ID card in Original and photocopy
      • One Ballpoint pen
      • Original Proof for Change in name if any

    • Admit Card can be downloaded from the official site.
    • The candidates should note that the Hall Tickets will not be sent by post.
