Admission 2024 for B.Sc. (Nautical Science)

Usually, the admission process for majority of courses start in the month of April and ends in the month of September. However, for many courses, admission process is through an entrance exam or counseling process. The relevant details for this admission are given below:

Registration and Application

Interested candidates can apply Both (Online and Offline), by filling up the required form and submitting online or offline as required.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification Detail
Eligibility: 10+2/ equivalent (PCM-60%) OR B.Sc (PCM)/ B.Sc (Electronics with Physics as individual subject in one of the years) with marks not less than 60%, OR B.E./B.Tech from IIT or college recognised by AICTE with marks not less than 50%. Note: English Marks are to be 50% or more in any one of the above examination. In case of SC/ST candidates there will be a 5% relaxation in eligibility marks; however, it will not apply to English marks. All admissions to the various UG and PG programmes of the IMU and its Affiliated Institutes for the Academic Y ear 2018-19 starting on Wednesday, 01st August 2018 will be through an all-India Online Common Entrance Tests (CETs) which will be conducted on Saturday, 2nd June 2018 between 11 am and 2 pm. Candidates will be required to clear this CET in order to be eligible for admissions to the respective Programmes.

Admission is based on merit and eligibility criteria.
