Articles 315 to 323 in Part XIV[1] of the Constitution of India provides for the establishment of Public Service Commission for the Union and a Public Service Commission for each State. Its role includes to conduct examinations for appointment to the services of the Union or state and direct recruitment by selection through interviews.
