Common Admission Test 2021 or CAT 2021 is the entrance examination for admission to MBA, PGDM, PGPM and FPM. CAT 2021 is conducted by IIM Ahmedabad.
CAT for the year 2021 has been announced by IIM Ahmedabad and will be held on 28/11/2021. The application forms will be available from 04/08/2021 till 22/09/2021. The exam is in online mode. It is being conducted in English language. Admit card will be available from 27/10/2021. Result is expected to be announced on 03/01/2022.
The minimum Academic Qualifications required for CAT 2021 required are passed Bachelors with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% for candidates belonging to the SC / ST / PWD categories] from a recognized university.
Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelors or equivalent examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply for CAT 2020. However, it may be noted that such candidates, if selected, will be given admissions provisionally, only if they submit a certificate issued by University / Institution stating that they have completed all the requirements for obtaining the Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification on the date of the issue of the certificate. IIMs may verify eligibility at various stages of the selection process.
