Can I do MBBS after Bsc?

 

MBBS degree is an undergraduate course for the aspirants who dream about becoming a doctor. Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery is a collaboration of professional degrees in medical science. The person holding MBBS Degrees becomes a certified medical practitioner. The duration of the MBBS course is five years and six months including one year of rotational internship at hospitals, health centers, and health camps which are organized by the non-profit organizations (NGOs). On the other hand, B.Sc is an undergraduate degree in the field of Science with a duration of three years. It is a foundation course for students who want to pursue a career in the science field. 


Mostly the students who are pursuing BSc wanted to become doctors somewhere in there life, especially those who are doing BSc Medical. They dreamt of becoming a doctor, but due to a few reasons, they couldn’t be able to pursue MBBS. But if they still wanted to become a doctor, so yes, they can, it is just they should continue their studies and continue their preparation for the entrance exams. As there is no age limit and any limit for the entrance exams of the MBBS. After completing the BSc course the chances and knowledge increases, therefore, the chances of clearing the entrance exams is more accessible. But the BSc degree would not be considered in the entrance examination, but you can take your degree as a substitute. 


Therefore, anybody who wants to do MBBS after BSc degree, they can do by clearing the entrance exam. If you really dreamt of becoming a doctor then your determination will be enough to get it.
