In Tripura, admission and counseling process for filling Undergraduate Medical seats is administered by Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Tripura. The aim is to fill the 225 MBBS seats in the medical colleges of Tripura. The admission to these seats will be based on the NEET 2024 score. Out of these seats, 85% seats are state quota seats for which DME, Tripura will conduct online counselling on the basis of scores obtained in NEET UG and 15% are AIQ seats which will be filled by MCC on the basis of NEET 2024 Score.

Admission Process
Candidates seeking admission to MBBS programme in Tripura are required to fill the application form released on 19/08/2024. Candidate can submit the duly filled application form along with registration fee on or before 20/08/2024 11:55 pm.
Registration: While filling the application form, candidates need to register themselves by entering the correct contact details, name and DOB to complete the registration. personal and academic details like NEET score and rank, domicile, category etc.
Uploading documents: Candidates have to upload their scanned photograph and signature along with the prescribed documents.
Application fee payment and form submission: The non-refundable fee of Rs 1800 (for General candidates), Rs 1500 (for General candidates - EWS/OBC NCL) and Rs 1000 (for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender) must be deposited in the online mode by using debit/credit cards or net banking.
Final submission and printout of confirmation page: After the successful payment of the application fee, the confirmation page of online application form 2022 will be generated on the screen. Candidates must take a printout of the confirmation page for future references.

Counselling Process
