Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Minimum duration of the program: 2 years.

The maximum duration of the program: 5 years.

Course fee: 37,000.

There is no age limitation for this course.


Eligibility

The IGNOU will follow the eligibility criteria of AICTE

Any graduate with 50% for unreserved category and 5% relaxation, i.e 45% for reserved category from a recognized authority or equivalent.

Criteria for the eligible percentage are strictly followed by IGNOU.

Aspirants must have qualified OPENMAT (an entrance test for admission in IGNOU) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).

The institution follows a course-wise registration process for various courses offered.


Masters of Business Administration (Banking and Finance)

Minimum duration of the course: 2.5 years.

The maximum duration of the course: 8 years. 

Course fee: 37,000.

There is no limitation on age.


Eligibility

 The candidates must be a member of the Indian Institute of Bankers and should satisfy the following conditions-

  • Aspirants must have cleared CAIIB examinations of the Indian Institute of Bankers and must be awarded the required credentials or qualifications.
  • Aspirants must have completed his/her graduation degree from a recognized institute/university.

This program was launched by the MoU of the Indian Institute of banking and finance and IGNOU. The program is designed in such a way that it should meet the needs of banking professionals of CAIIB. The post-graduation is devised especially for the professionals of banking and finance in CAIIB. The program focuses on the capabilities and skill enhancement of banking professionals.


IGNOU OPENMAT entrance exam for MBA admissions

  • Mode of exam: computer-based test
  • Duration of exam: 180 minutes.
  • Exam type: MCQs.
  • A total number of questions: 2000.
  • A total number of marks: 200.
  • No negative marking will be allotted to incorrect answers.
  • Application fee: 800 for unreserved category and 600 for reserved category.
  • Fee payment can be done online or offline via draft mode.
  • The exam is divided into four sections: general awareness, English, quantitative aptitude, and logical reasoning.

Application process

  • The aspirants are recommended to visit the official site of IGNOU and go through all the details regarding the exam.
  • After reading and confirming all the details, candidates are needed to register themselves. After registration with login credentials candidates are required to login and fill the application form.
  • Enter all the necessary details carefully and submit all the required documents.
  • After paying the application fee, an application form can be submitted.
  • Admit cards will be available on the official site two weeks before the exam dates. Candidates may download the admit card and make a print to carry the same on the day of the exam with two passport size photographs and valid identification proof.
  • After the announcement of the result and publishing of merit list and score. Qualified students are requested to visit the site and apply for the admission process.
