CBSE Declares Class 10 Second Board Result 2026
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the results of the Class 10 Second Board Examination 2026. Students who appeared for the examination can now view their results by visiting the DigiLocker Results Portal. According to the board, the overall pass rate for Class 10 this year, combining the results of both the Main Board Examination and the Second Board Examination, is 96.78%.

According to the CBSE, the pass rate for the compartment category has also increased to 52.40 per cent this time, up from 48.68 per cent last year. The board has stated that information regarding verification, re-evaluation, and other post-result services will be released separately.
Two board exams held for Class 10 this year
The CBSE has introduced the arrangement of two board exams for Class 10 for the first time from the year 2026. The main board examination was held from 17 February to 11 March 2026, while the second board examination took place between 15 and 21 May 2026. The second board examination was optional, and only those students who wished to improve their marks took part.
Which marks will be included on the mark sheet?
The CBSE has clarified that for students who appeared for both the exams, the higher marks from either attempt will be recorded on their final mark sheet.
How Regular Students Will Receive Their Certificates
Printed mark sheets and passing certificates for regular students will be made available through their respective schools. Meanwhile, documents for private candidates will be sent to their registered address. Private candidates in the Delhi region will also be able to collect their documents from their designated examination center.
