The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has officially released revised examination dates for Bihar candidates and also the important SOPs relating to the COVID-19 pandemic required for CA November Exams 2020. The official notification for this was released on the official website of the ICAI. These guidelines are going to be followed by all including the exam centers, their officials as well as the candidates.
The CA exams were earlier scheduled in the first week of November, and they have now been postponed to the last week. The SOP that was released also showed an increase in the number of exam centers available for the project. The number has increased from 505 to 915. This will allow most candidates to attend the exam easily without the need to travel outside their current district.
SOP Facts
The SOP mentioned that the following precautions would be held during the examination:
- Sanitization of seats, doors, staircases, etc. Candidates may also carry a personal sanitizer to disinfect the seats before sitting.
- The candidates are allowed to carry face masks, shields, gloves, water bottles (transparent), hand sanitizer bottle, and exam-related documents and equipment.
- The students will be seated with an appropriate gap between them.
- Thermal scanning will be done at the entry gate and inside the examination venue.
The examination is set to be held between 2 and 5 pm for all the set days. You can check more details regarding the same on the official ICAI website.
