Direct Admission For Mehr Chand Mahajan D.A.V. College for Women, Chandigarh

Students applying for the admissions have to fill up the application form on the official site.  A student can submit the application for only once; multiple forms will be rejected. 

Requirements to be readied before you start filling up the Application Form :

• PC or a Laptop with Internet connectivity 
• Qualification details
• Scanned Photograph (Max Size 50 KB [3.4 cm X 4.5 cm] jpeg, jpg,bmp, png)
•  Scanned Photograph (Max Size 50 KB [3.4 cm X 4.5 cm] jpeg, jpg,bmp, png).
  
• Functional e-mail Id as all communication are made through email; Parents email id is recommended.
  
• Mobile number as all information is sent through SMS too. Parents phone number can be used.
• For online payments, usually a valid debit or credit card as well as Net B facility Service is a must.
• Printer is required for keeping hard copies; if there is no printer, one can save the printouts, transfer them on to a pen drive and get it printed from a cyber-café.
• It is recommended to download the information Bulletin Brochure and read it carefully so that you understand various requirements to fill up the form.

The Usual Steps in filling up the Online Application Form: 

• Step-1: Students have register for Online Application Form. A login and Password are created. 
• Step-2: Student has to Complete the Application Form and its various sections 
• Step-3: Required documents in the form of Scanned Images of Candidate’s Photograph, Candidate’s Signature.

• Admission to all classes will be ONLINE. Physical submission of the form is not allowed.
• Only eligible applicants who have applied online for admission to College through the College portal will be considered for admission. Applicants seeking admission to courses regulated through Online Centralized Admission will follow the procedure and Admission Schedule as given on the DHE Website.
• Applicants will be admitted strictly in accordance with the rules and regulations in the latest Panjab University calendar/guidelines/any other instructions which have been or may be issued by the University or Director Higher Education, UT (for Admission to Centralized Courses) from time to time for the respective courses/examinations. 
• Registration fee will not be refunded in any circumstances including if the applicant is found ineligible for the course at a later stage. 
• Applicant must check the College Website for Admission Schedule and Merit List for admission to various courses. 
• Those approved for admission are required to pay the Admission Fee (within 24 Hours). 
• Fee Receipt will be available in the Student Dashboard after the payment of fee.
