Academic Eligibility for Four Years under Graduate Programs (BE)

FOR GENERAL MERIT CANDIDATES: A candidate who has Passed in 2nd PUC / 12 Std / Equivalent Examination with English as one of the Language and obtained a Minimum of 45% of Marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics as optional subjects in the qualifying examination is eligible to pursue in undergraduate programs (BE).

FOR SC/ST & OBC (Cat-I, 2A, 2B, 3A 3B) CATEGORY CANDIDATES:  A candidate who has Passed in 2nd PUC / 12 Std / Equivalent Examination with English as one of the Language and obtained a Minimum of 40% of Marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics as optional subjects in the qualifying examination  is eligible to pursue in undergraduate programs (BE).

The marks obtained by the candidate in Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science /Electronics in the qualifying examination will be considered in the place of Chemistry in case the marks obtained in Chemistry is less for the required aggregate percentage for the pursue of determination of eligibility.

Admission Through Entrance Examination: KEA / COMED-K

• Admission Order issued by KEA
• II PUC /12THSTD. Marks Cards
• SSLC / 10THSTD. Marks Cards(for proof of Date of Birth)
• Study Certificate from previous college (Total 07  Years)
• Caste Certificate in case of Reserved Category
• Transfer Certificate
• Migration Certificate shall be submitted by Non-Karnataka Students and students who have passed their qualifying exam other than PU Board.
• Students allotted under SPECIAL CATEGORY QUOTA (Rural,Kannada Medium, NCC, Sports, PH, HK, Defence etc.)are required to submit the relevant original certificates.
• Recent Photos–02 Nos. (Passport Size).
• AADHAAR CARD and any other documents  if required

SUBMIT ORIGINALS OF ALL THE ABOVE DOCUMENTS FOR VERIFICATION ALONG WITH TWO SETS OF SELF ATTESTED COPIES

NOTE: STUDENTS ARE INFORMED TO KEEP SUFFICIENT COPIES OF THE ABOVE DOCUMENTS WITH THEM AS THE ORIGINAL WILL BE SENT TO VTU  FOR APPROVAL OF THEIR ADMISSION
