Direct Admission For Giani Zail Singh Campus College of Engineering and Technology, Bathinda

After 1st round of direct online counselling as above, WALK-IN ADMISSION shall be done 2 p.m. onwards on all DAYS (except Sunday) in GZSCCET. Admission Cell, based on inter - se merit of  candidates registered on MRSPTU online admission portal upto 12.30  p.m. on the same day. 

Minimum Eligibility Criteria for 2019 - 20 Batch Admissions :

• Passed the 10+2 examination from a board recognized  or established by central/state government through a legislation with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Biotechnology / Computer Science / Biology / Technical Vocational Subject. If the seats of B.Tech. (Bio-Technology) remain vacant after the central counselling the seats may be filled with the candidates having following qualification also: 10+2 with Physics and chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Mathematics / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology. OR Passed diploma in any Engineering Trade from Punjab State Board of  Technical Education & lndustrial Training, Chandigarh or Sant Longowal lnstitute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal (SLIET), or any such examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education. OR Passed two years certificate course from Sant Longowal  lnstitute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal (SLIET) shall be eligible.
• The candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination shall also be eligible to appear for counseling based on JEE (Main) merit. The admission of such candidates shall be purely provisional and shall stand cancelled, if they fail to produce their eligibility at the time of admission and such candidates shall have no claim, whatsoever, for admission to these courses through Counselling; 15th Aug. is the last date of admission.

• Online Counselling based on JEE  (Main) Rank merit. 
• Online / Manual Counselling  based on Three-Year Diploma merit after exhausting JEE (Main) Rank Candidates. 
• Online / Manual Counselling  based on Two Year Certificate Course of SLIET merit after exhausting above Diploma Merit. 
• Online / Manual Counselling  based on 10+2 Merit after exhausting JEE (Main) Rank & Diploma Candidates.
