About Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Avionics Stream) - B.Tech.

It is basically a four year Aeronautical Engineering course in which the aircraft maintenance engineers (AME) are responsible for safety, security and maintenance of aircrafts. To get admission in top most government regulated Aircraft Maintenance engineering institutions in India, aspirants have to qualify the AME CET entrance exam that is a national level exam for admission in AM engineering. It is basically a training program that deals with the fundamentals of propulsion, electronics, theory of aerodynamics, fluid mechanics etc. Once a student completes the two years basic training and two years training in flying aircrafts, the candidate will be issued a license by Directorate General of Civil aviation (DGCA), Govt. of India.

About B. Tech. (Computer Science and Engg.) (Artificial Intelligence) (Lateral Entry)

In India, Bachelor of Technology degree (B.Tech) is a professional engineering undergraduate degree awarded after completion of four years of academic study in engineering field. It is offered in many disciplines. Some universities in India offer Bachelor of Technology instead of Bachelor of Engineering for the same Engineering courses but the difference between the two is that B.Tech is skill oriented course and is mostly based on practical and application based research.
