Steps in Filling up the application form:

• The candidates are advised to read the Admission Brochure carefully.
• It is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure his / her eligibility.
• If ineligibility of a candidate is detected at any stage before or after examination / declaration of result or during any stage of the programme, his / her admission will be cancelled.
• The candidate has to fill the application form in his / her own handwriting.
• The Application Form should be filled in English only.
• Incomplete Application Form will be summarily rejected.

Verification and Countersignatures :

While filing up of the application form, the candidate must verify the correctness of all the particulars provided by him / her by putting his / her signature at the appropriate spaces. Signature is also required to be put within the box provided. The candidate must get his / her application form countersigned by the parent / guardian. Relationship of the person countersigning the application form with the candidate should also be specified in the box meant for the purpose.

Before entering the Exam Centre  

• Before leaving for the site, please have a hearty breakfast or light lunch depending on the session. Drink plenty of fluids; as in summers dehydration can set in affecting your performance in the exam.
  
• Have a cookie or a chocolate just before entering the centre; this prevents hypoglycaemia and thus helps you stay alert longer improving your results.
• If it is a busy centre, then don’t wait till last for the entry and security check.
• Centre will not allow you to enter after the stipulated time of closing the doors.
• Admission to the Exam Centre is with the Admit Card; no candidates shall be admitted to the test without the production of the Admit Card at the Test Centre.
• Usually no bags are allowed.
• No eatables are allowed.
• Textual material, Calculators, Document Pen, Slide rules, Log Tables, Electronic Watches with facilities of calculator, printed or written material, bits of papers, mobile phone, pager or any other device, except the Admit Card inside the Examination Room are allowed in the exam centre; carrying one will lead to disqualification.
• No Candidate will be allowed entry to the Test Hall after the start of the Entrance Test.

After entering the centre

• Once candidates enter the centre, they should locate their designated hall and seat.
• No candidate shall be allowed to leave the examination hall / room till the end of the test.
• Smoking is a not allowed.
• Misbehaviour of any kind can lead to expulsion of the candidate.
• Caught copying helping in copying will mean cancellation of the answer sheet / cancellation of the candidature.
• Candidates shall maintain perfect silence and attend to their Question Paper only.
