Date & Time of PGDC CET- 2020 (Winter Session): 07/01/2020(Tuesday) From 10:30 to 12:00 Hrs.
COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (CET-Winter Session) CET-2020 (Winter Session) will be held on 07/01/2020 (Tuesday) from 10.30 a.m to 12.00 p.m at seven centres i.e. (1) NPTI, Neyveli, TN, (2) NPTI Durgapur, WB, (3) NPTI, Guwahati, Assam, (4) NPTI, Nagpur, Maharashtra, (5) NPTI-PSTI, Bengaluru, (6) NPTI, Nangal, Punjab & (7) NPTI, Faridabad (Delhi-NCR).

- The number of seats is tentative and may increase or decrease at sole discretion of NPTI.
- Candidates fulfilling eligibility criteria can only apply for the above courses.
- Category [EWS/GEN/SC/ST/OBC] once filled by candidate in the online application form will not be changed and no benefit of other category will be admissible later on. Seats reserved for EWS/OBC/ SC/ST/PWD category are available as per the Govt. of India Guidelines. There is no age limit for pursuing the course.
- Before starting to fill up the on-line application, the candidate should keep at hand the following details/documents:-
- Payment shall have been made on SBI e-collect service. A transaction Reference number generated by SBI e-collect portal after successful payment shall be available with the candidate for using it for online application. First accept the T&Cs on SBI e-collect portal and then following information may be used to make payment of application fee to NPTI on SBI e-collect portal.
NPTI PGDC CET 2020 (Winter Session) Syllabus
Duration of the test shall be 1.5 hours consisting two parts (each of 45 multiple choice questions). Part-I of the question paper (General Aptitude) shall be common to all the candidates, Part-II of the question paper (General Engineering) shall consist two groups i.e. G-I for the candidates of Electrical, EEE, ECE, C&I, CSE and Information & Communication Technology/IT disciplines and G-II for the candidates of Mechanical and Power Engineering disciplines.
Note
- In case of low turn-out at selected Centre, nearest available Centre will be allocated.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending Test / Counseling for PGDC admission process. Candidates are advised to reach exam centre well in advance to avoid in-convenience. Reporting time at Centre of examination is 09:45 AM.
