Admission Calendar

Deadline for application is 10th May 2020 & referee deadline is 17th May 2020.

Entrance Tests:

The first level of selection to the ICTS graduate program is performed using results from the following national exams: 

• TIFR GS Exam (selection already made and candidates have been informed) 
• JEST (Physics)
• GATE (Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Sciences)
• CSIR UGC NET (Physical Sciences - JRF eligible)
• GRE (Physics) - for overseas candidates

Candidates with M.Tech. / M.E. / M.S. (Engg.) can submit their earlier scores (valid) of GATE / equivalent. The dates and centers of all the tests are advertised in major national newspapers.

Eligibility Criteria for the Entrance Tests: 

JEST: Rank between 1 to 80 

GATE: 90 percentile and above 

CSIR UGC NET (JRF Qualified): Rank between 1 to 50 

GRE (for overseas candidates): 80 percentile and above 

Applicants qualified in the written tests should apply online for being considered for further selection. 

Interviews 

Performance in the national/ international exam, along with the additional information requested in the online application form will be used to shortlist candidates for further selection process at ICTS, Bangalore. The final selection is based on the interview conducted at ICTS. 

Except for overseas candidates, all shortlisted applicants need to appear in person at ICTS, Bangalore for the final selection process. Overseas candidates, once shortlisted for interviews, should contact the ICTS graduate studies regarding the same.
