Candidates should fill, upload necessary documents / certificates and submit applications online at University website. After submitting the online application and online payment, the candidates should take the printout of filled online application form, attach the photocopy of relevant certificates / documents for each course (BVSc & AH / BTech) separately and send to

Note :

• 15% of total seats for BVSc & AH are reserved for candidates selected by Veterinary Council of India
• 15% of total seats for BTech (Food Technology) are reserved for candidates selected by ICAR, GoI.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION TO BVSc & AH, BTech (Food Technology), BTech (PoultryTechnology) and BTech (Dairy Technology) DEGREE PROGRAMMES

• Nativity
• Candidates should be Native of Tamil Nadu State.
• Candidates who have passed VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply. They need not enclose Nativity Certificate.
• Tamil Nadu native candidates who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. or their equivalent examinations from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu should enclose Nativity Certificate as given in Annexure - I, Page No.36.
• Qualifying Examinations And Minimum Marks: 
• A pass in the Higher Secondary Course (10+2) / CBSE / any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto and fulfilling the following requirements are mandatory.
• In addition, for those candidate who have appeared for March 2019 HSC examination of Tamil Nadu State Board, a pass in 11th standard examination is mandatory (G. O. Ms. No. 195, School Education Dept., Dated: 14.09.2018 of the Government of Tamil Nadu).

Counselling

The rank list for admission to BVSc & AH and BTech degree programmes will be published in the University Website - www.tanuvas.ac.in. Selection for admission to BVSc & AH and BTech (Food Technology), BTech (Poultry Technology) and BTech (Dairy Technology) degree programmes will be done by counselling on basis of merit of aggregate marks duly following communal reservation of Government of Tamil Nadu. The exact date of counselling will be intimated to the individuals (through SMS and Email) who are called for counselling. The counselling notification will be published in the University Website - www.tanuvas.ac.in. The candidates who are eligible for counselling can download their counselling call letters from the University website.
