Usually, the admission process for majority of courses start in the month of April and ends in the month of September. However, for many courses, admission process is through an entrance exam or counseling process. The relevant details for this admission are given below:

| Eligibility: 66.6% seats are filled by the P.S.B.T.E. & I.T., Chandigarh through Joint Entrance Test (J.E.T.) and remaining 33.3% seats are filled by the Institute on merit basis under management quota seats. |
The management seats which constitutes 33% of total seats are filled up by the institute directly. The students who want to take admission in the category need not appear in the JET test. These seats will, however be filled on the basis of the merit of the candidates. These candidates must fulfill the minimum eligibility requirement in the matriculation for engineering courses and 10+2 science examination for pharmacy courses. |
