Eligibility: i) Applicants must have passed B. Sc. with minimum 50% marks - With Biotechnology/Microbiology/Industrial Microbiology/Zoology/Botany as principal subject or with Biochemistry/Microbiology/Botany/Zoology as subsidiary subjects at B. Sc. II level for M. Sc. Biotechnology. - With Microbiology/Industrial Microbiology/Biotechnology as principal subject or with Microbiology or Botany/Zoology or any Biological subject as subsidiary subject at B. Sc. II level for M. Sc. Microbiology. ii) No person shall be registered for the Post Graduate Degree course unless such a person is in a position to work as a full time student for the period applicable in the case. iii) The candidate will be selected according to the existing rules and regulations in the Constituent College/Institution concerned. iv) The number of students registered will be in accordance with the rules and regulations shall be selected strictly on the basis of their academic merit. v) The academic merit, for admission to degree courses shall be on the basis of merit as determined by the competitive test conducted by the University on all India basis .
