Eligibility: Candidates who have completed A recognized master’s degree or a Qualification declared equivalent to the master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body. A candidate must have obtained in the master degree at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade. or A recognized 4 years bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade on a point scale, wherever the grading system is followed. or An equivalent degree from a foreign educational institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved or recognized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions. (The candidates, who have passed the qualifying examinations from any Foreign University will have to submit Equivalence Certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.). Candidates who have completed the M.Phil. programme with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed or equivalent qualification from a foreign educational institution accredited by an assessment and accreditation agency which is approved recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country to assess, accredit or assure quality and standards of educational institutions. An applicant who has completed the Company Secretary (CS) Course from ‘The Institute of Company Secretaries of India’ (ICSI) or; Chartered Accountants (CA) Course from ‘The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India’ (ICAI) or the Cost and Works Accountants (CWA) Course from “The Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India” (ICWAI) with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks. An applicant who has completed PGDBM (2 Years), which is recognized equivalent to Master❜s Degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks by AIU is eligible. Sponsored/Fellowship Awardees: UGC NET/GATE/GPAT /CSIR/INSPIRE/ AICTE fellowship awardees or those sponsored by Government (State/Union/UT)/ Public Enterprises/ CSIR/DRDO research labs or candidates who have been awarded fellowships directly by any funding agency for the purpose of pursuing Ph.D., can be registered any time during the session.
