Details of 2025 NEET counseling (MCC Counselling) of MBBS and BDS seats for 15% All India Quota and Deemed Colleges of India

The counseling for admission to MBBS/BDS program is conducted by MCC. The admissions process has been notified for the year 2025 and filling up of admission forms is happening as per the schedule given in the MCC prospectus.

This MCC counselling is done for the following:

1. 15% All India Quota seats (AIQ) for all government colleges of India

2. All Deemed (Private Colleges)

3. Central Universities

4. ESI colleges

5. Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC)

6. Delhi University Medical Colleges

7. AIIMS

8. JIPMER

This admission is done on the basis of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) score. The counseling schedule for MBBS/BDS admissions 2025 has been released on the website of MCC (https://mcc.nic.in/).

Counselling and Seat Allotment Process

Round-I

Online Registration:

Candidates seeking admission in MBBS/BDS programs for 15% AIQ seats need to register online at the official website of MCC. The online registration for the first round of counseling has started from 21st July 2025. Candidates have to register online by submitting the complete and correct personal and academic details.


 Choice filling and locking:

Candidates would have to fill their unlimited choices from 22nd July 2025 to 7th Aug 2025  (up to 08:00 A.M) according to their preferences. After filling in their preferences, candidates need to lock the choices filled otherwise the saved choices will be locked automatically.

Result for Seat allotment:

On the basis of filled choices, seat availability and reservation criteria, the seats will be allotted to the registered candidates for round-I of the counseling. The list for seat allotment for first round will be displayed on 13th Aug 2025. 

Reporting to Institution:

Candidates who will be allotted seats and accept the granted seat in the first round of counseling will have to report (join) to their respective colleges (14th Aug 2025 to 18th Aug 2025) along with their seat allotment letter and original documents. 

Round-II

(Candidates who registered for Round-1 and did not get any seat allotted are not required to register again.)
a) Fresh New Registration for Round-2 for those candidates who
   Have not registered in Round-1 (with full payment of fees).
   Have Resigned / Not reported in Round-1 need not register again.
   Fresh Choice filling Round-2.
b) Publication of result of Round-2 on MCC website.
c) Reporting at the allotted Medical/Dental College against Round 2

MOP –UP ROUND

a) Fresh Registration with payment of registration fee for Mop Up Round for the following candidates :
      Those who registered in Round-1 & exited availing Free Exit
      Those registered in Round-2 & exited with Forfeiture of fees can register again with payment of fees.

 However, candidates who have already joined and taken admission in Round-2 of AIQ/Deemed/ Central Universities/AIIMS/JIPMER will not be eligible to participate in Mop Up Round. (Those who registered but were not allotted a seat in Round-1 & Round-2 need not register again).
 b) Fresh choice filling of Mop Up Round
 c) Publication of result of Mop Up Round on MCC website
 d)  Reporting at the Allotted Medical/ Dental College after Mop Up Round
