 Preparation Tips

While you start preparing for the examination, always try to have a time table according to your routine and make sure to follow it. Having a timetable would help you trace your preparation, give you a scenario of what is done and what is left.

The next important tips are to have a thorough idea of the syllabus, the topics, marking scheme, changes in the syllabus, newly added topics, deleted topics, etc.

Practice the previous year's paper, as practicing the previous year's paper is gonna boost your confidence, give you a sense of the actual exam paper, also you can track your performance and work accordingly for the improvement.

Now coming towards how to attempt the English exam for a good score. The subject is divided into reading, grammar, writing sections, therefore it is essential to have precise time management.

The reading section is very time-consuming, so try to read the questions before reading the passage, this will save your time. Along with this practice 2/3 reading comprehension every day prior to the exam, so that you have a better idea about how to deal with the question.

Coming to the Writing and Grammar section, this section is time-consuming so have a good practice of the grammar, frequently keep on revising the rules. Revise the formats of essay writing, advertisement, invitation, articles, notice, debate, letter writing, and speech, remember openings and closings, and lastly keep a trace on the word limit.

Next is the literature section, this can be said as one of the most familiar sections so try to have a good attempt in this section. Have a thorough reading of all the chapters, do not leave any chapter. Attempt long answers first and then the short ones.

The comprehension and reading section is time-consuming, so during the examination make sure no to devote more time to one section. So that at the end you should be done with all the sections.

Work on the Presentation. How you write your paper is equally important to what you write in your paper. Your paper should be clear, presentable, readable, maintain proper spacing, provide proper heading and subheading.
