JMI Entrance Exam (B.Ed.). 2021: Eligibility, Registration, Exam Dates, Pattern, Syllabus, Preparation, Fees, Cut-offs And Much More

Bachelors in Education, usually referred to as B.Ed., is a two-year full-time degree course necessary for students interested in pursuing a career in teaching and other related fields. Few universities also offer this course as a 2-year distance learning or correspondence course. To form a teaching perspective, the course provides advanced instruction in both art and science subjects. For all those who choose to teach in primary and secondary schools, B. Ed. is compulsory. The National Teacher Education Council (NTEC) is a legislative body that delegates and oversees country-wide teaching programs.

The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program offered in distance mode at the Centre for Distance and Open Learning, Jamia Millia Islamia, serves the disadvantaged segment of society in India by providing educational opportunities at the doorstep of learners to obtain a professional degree for being eligible to be a teacher. Throughout the two years, this curriculum offers a judicious mix of theoretical and practical courses to train and strengthen students' teaching potentials. The two years B.Ed. distance mode program is designed and developed following the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) guidelines for both working teachers at elementary levels who wish to upgrade their knowledge in a self-paced manner or trained elementary teaching diploma holders who want to enhance their professional qualification to broaden their job opportunities.

This program utilizes self-instructional material, information technology along with the interactive personal contact program (PCP). Pupil teachers are also helped in developing teaching skills through simulated and actual classroom situations. Based on a university level entrance examination, Jamia Millia Islamia University selects applicants for its B.Ed. degree program. It is proposed that the entrance exam will take place in April 2021, the application form for which will be tentatively published in February 2021. Until applying for online admissions, it is recommended that the candidates verify their eligibility. Get full information from this article below about the JMI B.Ed. Admission 2021 process.
