VIT university Vellore admission process

  Students have to qualify in VITEEE conducted by VIT to get admission to B.Tech and B.Des program. B.Des admission is based on a valid score in UCEED although VITEEE passed candidate are not required to take UCEED. Admission to B.Arch. is done on the basis of NATA score followed by counselling. BA, B.Sc., B.Com, and BBA admission at UG level are offered strictly on merit basis followed by counselling. For M.Tech, MCA and M.Tech by research courses a valid score in VITMEE is mandatory. Final admission is based on interview. CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT or NMAT qualified candidates are eligible to apply for MBA program. M.Sc. and M.Des admission is based on the marks in the last qualifying examination followed by counselling. Students for admission in M.Phil. and Ph.D. courses need to appear for VITREE followed by an interview. Those students who have already qualified in CSIR, NET and UGC NET or any other national level entrance respective department of the university.

VIT VELLORE Placements 2020-2021

VIT inaugurated its 2020-21 placement drive wherein have received 7403 job offer from 382 companies during phase. So far, 4503 students have received multiple offers from a diverse group of companies. IT major cognizant Infosys and TCS rolled out 3517 job offers with cognized making 1321 offers while Infosys made 778 offers. TCS recruited over 224 students for its digital practice with a package worth INR.7 LPA followed by Wipro hiring 419 students an average package of INR 6.5 LPA. Overall, the average package of the university is INR 6.5 LPA.
