Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination 2022 or Central Armed Police Forces (ACs) Examination 2022 is the entrance examination for admission to BSF, CRPF, CISF, Indo‐Tibetan Border Police and Sashastra Seema Bal. Central Armed Police Forces (ACs) Examination 2022 is conducted by Union Public Service Commission.

Central Armed Police Forces (ACs) Examination for the year 2022 has been announced by Union Public Service Commission and will be held on 07/08/2022. The application forms will be available from 20/04/2022 till 10/05/2022. The exam is in written mode. It is being conducted in English and Hindi languages. Admit card will be available from 15/07/2022. Result is expected to be announced on 16/09/2022.

Central Armed Police Forces (ACs) Examination 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: 

  • No person who is not a citizen of India shall, except with the consent of the Central  Government signified in writing be appointed or employed under these Rules. Provided that nothing contained in these rules shall debar the appointment, enrolment or employment of a subject of Nepal or Bhutan under these Rules. 

Sex:

  • Both Male and Female candidates are eligible for appointment to the post of Assistant  Commandants.

Age Limits :

  • A candidate must have attained the age of 20 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years on 1st August, 2022, i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1997 and not later than 1st August, 2002

The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable.

  • upto a maximum of five years if a candidate belongs to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe.
  • upto a maximum of three years in the case of candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates.
  • upto a maximum of five years for Civilian Central Government Servants in accordance with the existing instructions of the Central Government. Ex-Servicemen will also be eligible for this relaxation. However the total relaxation claimed on account of Government Service will be limited to five years.

    Application Form Filling Instructions

    HOW TO APPLY:

    • Candidates are required to apply Online Detailed  instructions for filling up Online Applications are available on the above mentioned website. 
    • The applicants are advised to submit only single application. However, if due to any unavoidable  situation, he/she submits another/multiple applications, then he/she must ensure that application with the higher RID is complete in all respects like applicants details, examination centre, photograph, signature, fee etc. The applicants who are submitting multiple applications should note that only the application with higher RID (Registration ID) shall be entertained by the Commission and fee paid against one RID shall not be adjusted against any other RID. 
    • All candidates, whether already in Government Service, Government owned industrial  undertakings or other similar organisations or in private employment should submit their applications direct to the Commission. Persons already in Government service, whether in permanent or temporary capacity or as workcharged employees other than casual or daily rated employees or those serving under the Public Enterprises are however, required to inform in writing their Head of Office/Department that they have applied for the Examination. Candidates should note that in case a communication is received from their employer by the Commission withholding permission to the candidates applying for/appearing at the examination, their application will be liable to be rejected/ candidature will be liable to be cancelled.

    Mobile Phones/other articles Banned: 

    • The use of any mobile phone (even in switched off mode), pager or any electronic equipment or programmable  device or storage media like pen drive, smart watches etc. or camera or blue tooth devices or any other equipment or related accessories either in working or switched off mode capable of being used as a communication device during the examination is strictly prohibited. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail disciplinary action including ban from future examinations
    • Candidates are advised in their own interest not to bring any of the banned item including mobile phones or  any valuable/costly items to the venue of the examination, as arrangement for safe-keeping cannot be assured. Commission will not be responsible for any loss in this regard.
