Maharishi Markandeshwar University Entrance Exam for Master of Science Nursing 2020 or MMU Entrance Exam M.Sc. Nursing 2020 is the entrance examination for admission to M.Sc. (Nursing). MMU Entrance Exam M.Sc. Nursing 2020 is conducted by Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Mullana.
The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes. It is being conducted in English language. The result date will be announced later.

Eligibility Conditions:
The candidates should fulfil the following minimum conditions to become eligible for admission to M.Sc Nursing course
- Should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
- Passed B.Sc Nursing / B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum of 55% marks in aggregate from an institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council
- Minimum one year of work experience after Post Basic/B.Sc Nursing as on 31.10.2019.
- Minimum one year of work experience prior to or after Post Basic B. Sc Nursing as on 31.10.2019.
- SC / ST candidates will be eligible for a relaxation of 5% marks in eligibility conditions.

Important Instructions:
- The Application form / prospectus once purchased will not be returnable.
- The candidates must produce all the documents in original along with their attested copies at the time of counselling.
- The Counselling Board shall have the power to call for any documents from the candidate in support of his / her claim and reject any certificate not considered valid.
- The decision of the Counselling Board in this regard shall be final. No judicial proceedings will lie against the competent authorities i.e. the MM(DU) for Counselling and Admissions.
- All Admissions will be provisional i.e. subject to their final Registration by the MM(DU) after completing necessary requirements as per rules / Ordinance of the MM(DU).
- Application Forms received after the due date and time due to any reason including delay in transit (Postal / Courier) will be rejected without any intimation to the candidates and no amount on this account including the amount sent as cost of the Application form will be refunded in this behalf.

Admission Procedure:
- Admission to 85% open seats of M.Sc. Nursing course will be made on the basis of merit of the Entrance Test.
- Admission to 15% NRI seats will be advertised separately. The candidates for NRI seats are not required to appear in the Entrance Test.
- A candidate seeking admission to the M.Sc (Nursing) course is required to send his or her application on the prescribed form appended at the end of this prospectus.
- Before filling up the Application Form, the candidate is required to go through the prospectus carefully and acquaint himself / herself with all the requirements with regard to the filling-in of the Application Form and check his / her eligibility.
- Application Form should be filled-in in English only.
- The candidate shall fill in the Application Form in his / her own handwriting in block letters written neatly and legibly with ink within the prescribed boxes.
- Overwriting / cutting / erasing in the Application Form may lead to rejection of the Application and should be avoided. Any error arising on this account shall be the responsibility of the candidate.

The Entrance Test will be based on the syllabus of B.Sc. Nursing prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council. Areas included in the selection test are Applied, Physical and Biological Sciences, Nutrition, Social Science, Medical-Surgical, Obstetrical and Gynaecological, Child Health, Mental Health and Community Health Nursing and Basic Concepts of Education, Administration, Research and Statistics.

The candidates of M.Sc Nursing will fill up three ADMIT CARDS annexed to the Application Form. The original will be sent to them by Speed Post / Courier. If the same does not reach them in time or in transit or for any other reason, they can collect their Duplicate Admit Cards from the Admission Office, MM(DU), Mullana-Ambala on the day of the Entrance Test.
